New design finds | November 2025

It’s time for my regular round-up of product launches, and there’s a bit of a theme to November’s selection: materiality. The below designs range from storage furniture to home textiles to upholstered chairs, but they all showcase and celebrate the materials they’re made from – some natural, others recycled and highly innovative. Read on for details…
The ‘Harmon’ series from Fronteriors x Avenue Design Studio
I’m kicking things off with Fronteriors, which makes stylish fronts to customise IKEA’s standard ‘PAX’ wardrobe system, ‘METOD’ kitchen system and ‘BESTA’ storage system. It has just unveiled a beautiful collaboration with Holly Marder, founder of Netherlands-based Avenue Design Studio, whose work has featured in both my books and whose gallery I shared here.
Called ‘Harmon’, the collaboration is not a collection as such but rather a method of arranging contrasting finishes to transform everyday cabinetry into an elegant composition of pattern and precision. It was inspired by the geometry of classic chessboards and encompasses wooden veneer fronts in three different colours: ‘Dark Oak’, ‘Natural Oak’ and ‘Burnt Umber Oak’. The latter is a brand-new finish for Fronteriors and consists of a warm, reddish-brown stain that brings a rich earthiness and refined tonal variation to the offering.
The ‘Harmon’ series is available now, with prices starting at £42 per front. As part of the collaboration, Holly is also offering a limited number of online consultations to help customers make the most of their designs – find out more here.

Home textiles and headboards from Nordic Knots
Next up is Swedish brand Nordic Knots. Long known for its beautiful rugs and curtains (which I’ve used in my own house and many a client project), it’s now expanding into other home textiles with a range of bedding and accessories. There are bedspreads, sheets, duvet covers, pillowcases, cushions and throws in high-quality natural fabrics such as percale, linen, Egyptian cotton sateen and cashmere, plus a gorgeous checkerboard-patterned bedspread made from pure New Zealand wool and inspired by the company’s signature ‘Square’ rug. All come in an array of neutral and more vibrant hues, developed to accentuate a room without dominating the decor.
Also newly launched by Nordic Knots is a pair of headboards, one with a rectangular silhouette and softly rounded edges, the other in a sculptural crown shape. Both are designed to be freestanding and can simply be placed between the bed and the wall, with no mounting required. They come with removable cotton and linen slipcovers for easy dry-cleaning, and slipcovers can also be purchased separately should you want to change things up to suit your mood or the season.
The home textiles collection and headboards are available now, with prices starting at £70 / €80 for bedding, £1,000 / €1,250 for a headboard and £295 / €365 for a slipcover.

A new twist on the classic ‘Tired Man’ chair
Audo Copenhagen has added to its ‘Everyday Icons’ collection, which honours designs with enduring significance, by unveiling a new edition of modernist Danish architect Flemming Lassen’s ‘Tired Man’ chair.
First launched in 1936 and now a collector’s piece, the chair balances a sculptural silhouette with cocooning comfort thanks to its gentle curves, winged back and tapered armrests. The new iteration is available alongside the original sheepskin version but is upholstered in white Baena bouclé from renowned Italian textile maker Limonta. The legs, meanwhile, have been reimagined in dark-stained oak, which creates an elegant contrast with the fabric. Together, the two materials add a sophisticated, contemporary twist to the design, allowing it to integrate seamlessly into a wide range of settings. They’re also an option for the matching ottoman.
The bouclé chair and ottoman are both available now, priced at €4,565 / £4,015 and €1,340 / £1,180 respectively. And if you like the look of the beautiful Danish house where the below press images were taken, I featured it a couple of months ago – see more here.

The ‘Knit’ chair from Normann Copenhagen
There’s more chair news from Normann Copenhagen, which has launched ‘Knit’ – a versatile piece that works equally well in residential, commercial and hospitality settings. The work of in-house designer Yuchen Wu, it’s defined by its lightweight yet softly embracing form and is upholstered in ‘Myr’ – an innovative knitted textile by Kvadrat that’s made from 100% recycled polyester. The flexible fabric stretches seamlessly over the frame, creating a smooth wrinkle-free surface, while a gentle curvature in the backrest follows the natural contours of the body to ensure support and comfort even over extended periods of sitting.
The chair was also created with circularity in mind and can be easily disassembled, allowing each component – foam, fabric, wooden shell, powder-coated steel legs – to be sorted and repurposed individually. This differentiates it from conventional upholstery, where mixed materials often complicate recycling.
The ‘Knit’ chair comes in three colour options – ‘Olive’, ‘Brandy’ and ‘Sand’ – and is priced at €630 / £570. It’s available to order now.

A nature-inspired rug collection from nanimarquina
Spanish rug maker nanimarquina has released ‘Alga’, a collection that takes its cue from coastal grasses and sea meadows. Designed by the company’s founder Nani Marquina, it features flowing, organic shapes and varying weave lengths, with hand-knotted deep-pile sections framed by flat hand-loomed dhurries.
Each rug is also made up of a combination of several fibres: Afghan wool, New Zealand wool, new wool and jute. This creates depth and variation, reflecting the differing textures and tones of the marine plants that inspired the collection. It’s an effect that’s enhanced by the colour palette, whose subtle yet deliberate contrasts evoke movement and dynamism. The result is a multi-sensory experience that forms a connection between indoor environments and the natural world (and if you want to know more about the benefits of that, please do check out my latest book!).
The ‘Alga’ collection is available now, with a choice between three colour options (‘Off White’, ‘Ochre’ and ‘Grey’) and four different sizes. Prices start at £3,800 / €4,400.

New burl-wood designs from Ferm Living
Nature also takes centre stage in the last of my picks for this month: a storage table and table lamp made from beautiful burl veneer. Produced by Ferm Living, they join the brand’s existing burl side and coffee tables and celebrate the wood’s distinctive swirling grain pattern.
The two pieces have square silhouettes, their clean lines offsetting and highlighting the organic irregularities of the material. The table features a concealed drawer that can be used to hide everyday items from sight and comes in natural and dark-stained finishes. The lamp, meanwhile, casts a soft glow that’s ideal for living rooms, bedrooms or quiet corners in need of gentle illumination. Both are sculptural yet understated, combining functionality and aesthetics to add instant warmth and character to the spaces they sit in.
The storage table and lamp are available now, priced at £959 / €999 and £365 / €379 respectively.
