This Worn Front Door Looked Ready for Replacement Until It Was Sprayed Blue
Chipped finish around the glass, scratches across the lower panels, and worn areas beside the lock made this front door look like a candidate for replacement. Yet the door itself still had decorative glazing, raised panels, a matching sidelight, and brass hardware worth keeping. @renewingdecorating Instagram creator @renewingdecorating kept the existing entrance and changed its finish instead. The brown wood-effect surface was sprayed deep blue across the door, frame, and sidelight surround, covering the damage without removing the features that gave the entrance its shape.
